UK ETA: THE NEW TRAVEL RULE
Last year, the UK introduced the Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) system, which is mandatory for travellers from visa-exempt countries (excluding the UK and Ireland). Much like the US ESTA or Canada’s eTA, the UK ETA must be applied for online before travel and will be valid for two years, allowing multiple entries. Make sure to check your eligibility and apply in advance to avoid any disruptions to your travel plans.
